Ministries

In order to impact the water sports community, In His Wakes developed a division of the ministry called "On the Shores." This aspect of the ministry travels to professional and amateur water sports events in order to hold church services open to the athletes, corporate sponsors and water sports enthusiasts in attendance. At these events, In His Wakes also operates a ministry booth where individuals can find out more about the ministries of In His Wakes and be encouraged to use their talents and resources to be a blessing to others. This division of ministry also organizes speaking engagements where professional water sports athletes are given a platform to share the true 'Source' of their strength.

In order to provide an opportunity of a lifetime to individuals who would not, in their ordinary lives, have the opportunity to experience water sports, In His Wakes developed "A Day to Remember" for at-risk individuals. This division of In His Wakes provides an opportunity of a lifetime for predominately at-risk youth where they experience an unforgettable day of water sports activities such as swimming, boat riding, personal water crafts, inflatable toys, knee boarding, water skiing and wake boarding. These activities provide an opportunity for the Lord to break through walls of fear, distrust, and low self esteem and expose the joy and smiles that have been suppressed by a life time of challenges. Through the on-water activities, the time invested in the participant’s life, and the life changing message of Jesus Christ, the "Day to Remember" becomes a starting point for a new life for the participants as they gain confidence, self esteem, and newfound hope to face the challenges of life.
