Beginning with just 5 events in 2003, “A Day to Remember” has expanded to a nation-wide tour with 53 events in 2007 alone. It is anticipated that 70 events will be conducted in 2008 across the United States, with an international event being held in Costa Rica.

God has continually tweaked our water sports events to mold them into what He desires them to be…effective tools to bring hope and healing to a hurting world. Not only have we exposed over 3000 at-risk individuals to water sports, a sport which enables them to push past the barriers of fear and distrust, we have also built amazing relationships with our participants through one-on-one interaction, relationships which enable God to bring out the champion within!

All of our participants and our 1400 volunteers have been exposed to the gospel, many for the first time, through amazing visual analogies between water sports and a relationship with Christ. Hundreds have accepted Christ as their Savior as well as sought healing for emotional, spiritual and physical pain. What a blessing to be able to lay hands on these individuals and pray for them to receive healing at the waters edge!

With 130 events in our wakes, we are pressing forward as God continues to expand our events into every state and across the world. We are looking forward to continuing these programs with your support and TOGETHER moving across the waters of the world...changing one life at a time!

Although the last two years have focused primarily on expanding the “A Day to Remember” program, In His Wakes still makes its way to professional and amateur water ski tournaments to minister “On the Shores” at these events to competitors and water sports enthusiasts. Through church services, athlete speaking engagements and faith based materials, we have been able to encourage tens of thousands of people to hook up to God as their ‘Power Source,’ get off their spiritual docks and follow Him through the amazing course He has planned for them.
