Please know that your support makes it all possible and your support is making a difference. The seeds sown into this ministry are reaping a harvest of restoration and healing for thousands of lives. To continue to make a difference in the lives of thousands, In His Wakes needs your financial support! From the outside looking in, it seems that In His Wakes lacks nothing. When we arrive at an event with our motor home pulling a beautiful shiny boat loaded to the top with water sports equipment, the first thing people say is “WOW! You guys are blessed!” Yes, God has truly blessed In His Wakes with an expansion of our territory as He has continued to grow our “A Day to Remember” program and to provide for our tangible needs. We have been blessed to have boats, motor homes, water sports equipment, banners, merchandise displays, In His Wakes dog tags, boat gas, lakes, and food donated as we have traveled across the country hosting these amazing events. Virtually everything we have needed to minister has been donated to us, right down to the printing and graphic design of even our newsletters!

However, in order to organize 70 national events, an international event and the many “On the Shores” events that will be conducted in 2008 alone, not to mention traveling for 8 months to host these events, we need more than tangible donated resources. We need financial support. It takes a staff of five people, four of which are paid and our founder who volunteers full time, to be able to organize these events. We have an incredible staff who have hearts for the Lord and who are passionate about bringing hope to the hopeless. They have all made tremendous financial and personal sacrifices to join the ministry and to carry out its vision.

In addition to payroll, our expenses include liability insurance, boat and motor home insurance, equipment repair, travel cost, give-away merchandise, ministering resources, and administrative cost. As we take these expenses into account, we incur an estimated cost of $100.00 for each participant who enters our “A Day to Remember” Program. With an estimated 1,500 participants in 2008, the cost associated with this program alone will be $150,000.

Yes, we have been blessed with tangible resources; however, financially, we have a monthly need for cash resources of $18,000 per month to sustain our ministry and to continue to be able to bring hope to the lost and hopeless. Please prayerfully consider becoming a monthly financial supporter of In His Wakes. We are trusting that God will provide 100 people in 2008 who will commit $50.00 a month, and 100 people who will commit $30.00. This commitment will enable us to focus on the call the Lord has put on the ministry, a call to continue to bring God’s life-changing message of hope and the life-changing experience of water sports.
